Hotel-Dieu Saint-Joseph Hospital Temporary relocation of services

(PERTH-ANDOVER) April 5, 2012 - To ensure minimal disruption in patient care, the hospital's inpatient and outpatient services have been successfully relocated to the temporary locations of the Upper River Valley Hospital and the Tobique Valley Community Health Centre.

Hospital patients

  • Hospital patients have been relocated to the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville and the Grand Falls General Hospital.

Emergency Services

  • Emergency services can be accessed by calling 9-1-1 or by going to the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville or Grand Falls General Hospital.

Surgery

  • Surgeries that were scheduled at the Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Joseph Hospital are being completed at the Upper River Valley Hospital. 

Chemotherapy

  • Patients requiring chemotherapy are receiving their treatment at the Upper River Valley Hospital.

Diagnostic testing (lab, X-rays and ECGs)

  • Diagnostic imaging (X-rays, mammography and ultrasounds) and ECGs are being completed at the Upper River Valley Hospital. 
  • Blood and laboratory specimen collection is being completed at the Upper River Valley Hospital and Tobique Valley Community Health Centre. 

Therapeutic services (physiotherapy, occupational therapy etc.

  • Therapeutic services staff have temporarily been relocated to the Upper River Valley Hospital and the Tobique Valley Community Health Centre.

Physician Offices

  • Local physicians have relocated their offices to various locations throughout the community including the Knights of Columbus Centre, Perth-Andover Extra Mural Program Building and Tobique First Nations Wellness Centre.
