A long-time chartered accountant, Doug Baker has been active in his community serving as a board member of countless organizations. Residing in Riverview, Doug has received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award from Moncton West Riverview Rotary Club for his significant volunteer work within the community. Read more.

Breau1Jeanne Evelyn Breau
Jeanne Evelyn Breau of Miramichi worked with Public Health Services as the Sexual Health Program and Clinical Coordinator for 26 years, and is an active member of the community. Jeanne started her career as a registered nursing assistant. Read more.

Cormier1John Cormier
John Cormier led many important provincial programs including: bridge maintenance, ferry operations, and building maintenance as an engineer. Graduating from Université de Moncton with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1973, John had a long career with the New Brunswick provincial government. Read more.

ForestellLinda G. Forestell
Linda G. Forestell was elected to the Board of the Horizon Health Network in May, 2012. Since then she has served as Chair of the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee. From 1992-1997, Linda served on the Board of the Region 2 Health Corporation in Saint John. Read more.

Shelley Francis
Shelley Francis is Wolastoquey from Ne-goot-gook Nation at Tobique and has been providing nursing services in New Brunswick First Nations communities for almost 30 years using a "Two-Eyed Seeing" approach to health care delivery. Read more.

Pauline Gallant is a New Brunswick Community College graduate in civil engineering, a field in which she has worked for many years. She is currently employed with the Villa Maria, in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, in nursing. Read more.


Nick Ganong 2Nicholas Ganong
A fifth-generation family business member, Nicholas (Nick) Ganong is the Vice President of Automation, Innovation, and Contract Manufacturing at Ganong. He joined the New Brunswick chocolate company in 2003, and has worked in various departments including Supply Chain, Operations, and Business Development. Read more.

Dan McCarthy of Florenceville-Bristol works as an educator in the Anglophone West School District. He holds an education degree from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. He taught school in Ontario before returning to New Brunswick to work at a transportation business. Read more.

Michael McCoombs of Miramichi has worked extensively in the financial industry since 1972, holding several managerial positions with Royal Bank of Canada. Michael has served as Chair of Finance for the Miramichi City Council and served a term with Economic Development. Read more.

Karen McGrath is President and CEO of Horizon Health Network. Karen joined Horizon in January 2017, immediately following her role as President and CEO of Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, Ontario.  Read more.



 Jane Mitton-MacLean
Jane Mitton-MacLean is a lifelong resident of Moncton who has a long history of giving back to her community through volunteering for many boards and charitable organizations. She is currently on the board of the NB Adoption Foundation. Read more.

As co-owner and health care consultant of Verus Consulting, Carol Reimer has worked on projects regarding health care access in developing countries, funding models for health resources, rural health, cost-comparisons between models, health care resourcing, and community health. Read more.


SchryerMary Louise Schryer
Mary Louise Schryer of Quispamsis was a member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 2006-2010 representing Quispamsis. During her career as MLA, she held several positions including Minister of Social Development, and most recently, Minister of Health in 2009-2010. Read more.


Martina Shannon
Martina Shannon of Saint John graduated from New Brunswick Teachers' College and the University of New Brunswick with degrees in Arts and Education. During her teaching career, Martina was a co-operating teacher for University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University student teachers. Read more.

André Veniot is a Project Officer/Policy, Planning and Performance Assurance with a federal government department based in Moncton.
