Board members are appointed a term of four years, which may be renewed.
Jeff McAloon, Board Chair
Currently working as an executive in the renewable energy sector, Jeff has held leadership roles in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors and remains heavily involved in his community. During his eight-year term as the President & CEO of the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, Jeff was responsible for leading fundraising initiatives. Read more.

Jeff Beairsto has worked at Populus Global Solutions, a
Fredericton firm that specializes in health informatics, for over
20 years. His work focuses on the design and deployment of health
informatics systems that capture clinical, operational, and

Janet Blair
Janet Blair is a lifelong resident of the Harvey area and
has always taken a keen interest in the challenges presented by
rural life. Her tenure in government and volunteer service
have focused on client service and enhancing operations. Read more.
Peggy Doyle
Peggy Doyle is employed by City of Miramichi as the executive assistant to the mayor and manager. Peggy has over 40 years of volunteer experience, including president of the Minor Baseball Association, board chairperson of School District 16, as well as a former board chairperson of Region 7 Hospital Corporation in Miramichi. Forestell
Linda G. Forestell was elected to the Board of the Horizon Health Network in May, 2012. Since then she has served as Chair of the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee. From 1992-1997, Linda served on the Board of the Region 2 Health Corporation in Saint John. Read more.
Shelley Francis
Shelley Francis is Wolastoquey from Ne-goot-gook Nation at Tobique and has been providing nursing services in New Brunswick First Nations communities for almost 30 years using a "Two-Eyed Seeing" approach to health care delivery. Read more.
Pauline Gallant
Pauline Gallant is a New Brunswick Community College graduate in civil engineering, a field in which she has worked for many years. She is currently employed with the Villa Maria, in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, in nursing. Read more.
Nicholas Ganong
A fifth-generation family business member, Nicholas (Nick) Ganong is the Vice President of Automation, Innovation, and Contract Manufacturing at Ganong. He joined the New Brunswick chocolate company in 2003, and has worked in various departments including Supply Chain, Operations, and Business Development. Read more.
Derek Hutchison
Derek Hutchison is a representative for the Miramichi area. Currently, he is a teacher with the Anglophone North School District. He has served as principal to three schools, as well as community coordinator. Read more.
Jane Mitton-MacLean
Jane Mitton-MacLean is a lifelong resident of Moncton who has a long history of giving back to her community through volunteering for many boards and charitable organizations. She is currently on the board of the NB Adoption Foundation. Read more.
Greg McKim
Based in Moncton, Greg McKim has experience in community and home care leadership in several provinces. He has served as Board Co-Chair for the Health Association of Nova Scotia Home Health Network and the New Brunswick Home Support Association and as Home Care representative for the Continuing Care Council of Nova Scotia. Natasha Ostaff
Natasha Ostaff is originally from Fredericton, and relocated to Moncton in 2002. After spending 15 years in public accounting working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto and KPMG in Moncton, Natasha spent five years working as the Director of Finance and Administration at the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport. As co-owner and health care consultant of Verus Consulting, Carol Reimer has worked on projects regarding health care access in developing countries, funding models for health resources, rural health, cost-comparisons between models, health care resourcing, and community health. Read more.
Martina Shannon
Martina Shannon of Saint John graduated from New Brunswick Teachers' College and the University of New Brunswick with degrees in Arts and Education. During her teaching career, Martina was a co-operating teacher for University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University student teachers. Read more.

Dr. Brian Wheelock is a neurosurgeon who recently retired from
his Saint John practice. A former chief of staff for Horizon Health
Network's Saint John area, he is also a past chair of the Canadian
Patient Safety Institute and a former hospital accreditation
