NB Antimicrobial Treatment Guidelines for Common Infections
These guidelines have been developed by the NB Provincial Health Authorities Anti-infective Stewardship Committee (ASC) and its Working Group (a sub-committee of the Provincial Drugs and Therapeutics Committee). Local antibiotic resistance patterns and input from local infectious disease specialists, medical microbiologists, pharmacists and other physician specialists was considered in their development.
These clinical guidelines provide general recommendations for appropriate antibiotic use in specific infectious diseases and are not a substitute for clinical judgement.
