FREDERICTON, NB - April 15, 2016 - On April 18, the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation and Oromocto Public Hospital will be smoke-free.

These facilities are part of Horizon Health Network's 'Smoke-Free Together' spring launch, following Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 7. The Saint John Regional Hospital has been smoke-free since September. All Horizon hospitals will be smoke-free within the next six months.

The public is invited to attend events celebrating the launch. The Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and Stan Cassidy Centre will kick-off their event at 10 a.m. in the lobby of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Oromocto's event takes place at 1 p.m. in the hospital lobby.
