(Horizon) December 11, 2018 - Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is pleased to announce it was awarded with a decision of "Accredited" following a thorough assessment of their services by surveyors from Accreditation Canada.

The survey took place from Sep. 16, 2018 to Sep. 21, 2018, and examined 38 Horizon sites. All sites and services have been deemed "Accredited".

Health care accreditation helps identify what an organization is doing well, and where to focus its improvement efforts. This recent assessment was Horizon's third on-site survey as part of its participation in the accreditation process with Accreditation Canada.

"Horizon is pleased to participate in the Accreditation Canada process, as it challenges us to meet national standards of excellence, and to continually improve the care we provide."

In the coming months, Horizon will be implementing the recommendations made by the accreditation surveyors to further improve the safe and quality care Horizon provides to their patients, clients and their families.
