(Moncton) Tuesday, May 26, 2020 - Beginning Wednesday, May 27 all patients who have appointments at Horizon's Jones Lake blood collection site will be redirected to a temporary blood collection site at the Moncton Coliseum (377 Killam Dr.). During this time the Jones Lake facility will be closed.

The Moncton Coliseum's temporary clinic will only be open to patients with appointments and patients with recurring orders. Patients will be instructed to proceed to the white security tent in the parking lot, at which time security will direct them to the appropriate entrance.

To book an appointment for bloodwork at the Moncton Coliseum, Horizon's The Moncton Hospital, or Horizon's Sackville Memorial Hospital call 857-5271 from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

This is an adjustment to the way Horizon delivers health care.

Patients are asked not to arrive more than 15 minutes before a scheduled appointment. If you arrive earlier, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle. Patients are asked to attend their appointments alone, unless a support person is required.

Patients who arrive without an appointment will be asked to return home and contact their health care provider.

Upon arrival for your appointment, you will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, and asked to wear a mask and clean your hands. We encourage you to wear your own mask; if you don't have one, one will be provided.
