(SACKVILLE) Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021  - Due to a shortage of nurses, the Emergency Department at Horizon's Sackville Memorial Hospital(SMH) will temporarily close: 

TONIGHT, Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m., 

and  re-open tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 8 a.m.

The Emergency Department will not be seeing patients and clients during this time and ambulances will be diverted to other hospitals.

All patients and clients requiring urgent medical care will need to seek treatment at another hospital.

As always, patients experiencing a medical emergency should call 911.

Patients can call Tele-Care 811 if they have any questions about the type of medical attention they require.
