Interprofessional Health Research Day

(SAINT JOHN) March 11, 2013 - Health professionals, academics and post-graduate students from all disciplines will present their research results during Interprofessional Health Research (iHR) Day at theSaint JohnRegionalHospitalon Friday, March 15, 2013.

Hosted by Horizon Health Network, UNB Saint John, New Brunswick Community College and Dalhousie Medicine NewBrunswick, the event will showcase a wide range of research happening throughout our province on topics such as psychology, chemistry, oncology, emergency medicine, nursing, pharmacy, cardiology and resident training.

The keynote speaker is Kimberly Cote, MD, a professor of psychology and neuroscience, and Director of the Sleep Research Laboratory at Brock University. Dr. Cote's talk will focus on the impact lack of sleep has on a person's physical and emotional well-being, including the ability to function at home, in the workplace and with other people.
