P.A.R.T.Y. Program hosts information session for grade 12 students
(Riverview) October 3, 2017 - The P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk Related Trauma in Youth) Program is hosting a free information seminar for Riverview High School grade 12 students. The session will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, October 5 beginning at the Riverview High School student parking lot for a crash scene reenactment and back inside school for interactive sessions.
P.A.R.T.Y. is a program designed specifically for youth. Using interactive sessions, the program introduces students to the long-term consequences of risky behaviours, including alcohol. It shows students what it is like to survive a serious, preventable injury which happened because of risk taking behavior.
The Riverview Committee presenting this P.A.R.T.Y. program would like to acknowledge the Town of Riverview, Riverview Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, Codiac RCMP, and the numerous volunteers required to bring this event to reality.
