Senior Wellness Fair to Take Place April 26 in Saint John

(SAINT JOHN) April 25, 2013 - The New Brunswick Trauma Program, in collaboration with the Greater Saint John Wellness Committee, is hosting a Senior Wellness Fair on Friday, April 26 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Simonds Lions Auditorium, Loch Lomond Villa, 185 Loch Lomond Road.

The senior-focused fair will include more than 30 health and wellness exhibitors, refreshments, door prizes and music featuring Delbert from 2:15 p.m.- 3:15 p.m.

Seniors are encouraged to bring any old or outdated medications for disposal.

Admission to the fair is free.

The Greater Saint John Wellness Committee includes St. Joseph's Health and Aging Program, St. Joseph's Community Health Centre, NB Trauma Program, Loch Lomond Villa, Go Ahead Seniors Inc., and Saint John Leisure Services.

The New Brunswick Trauma Program provides provincial leadership and coordination of injury prevention, clinical care, education and research related to serious and critical injuries in New Brunswick. The NB Trauma Program is a formalized partnership that includes Horizon Health Network, Vitalité Health Network, Ambulance New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Department of Health.
